It has two losses, a 42-17 defeat against Eureka and 50-14 loss to Humboldt. The Dragons need to start focusing on playoff positioning. A win here will set up a battle with Eureka for the district championship next week. Belle Plaine beat Fredonia 28-23 in 2018.———Conway Springs (4-1) at Whitewater-Remington (0-5) — This game should be a snoozer. Whitewater-Remington has had just one game where it has been within a touchdown and has never scored more than two touchdowns in one game. It’s a one-hour plus drive for the Cardinals with Chaparral and Garden Plain looming.———South-Central (5-0) at Caldwell (4-1) — Huge game for the Bluejays. South-Central has dismantled pretty much everyone so far this season. In the past two weeks, the Timberwolves have defeated Udall 49-0 and Medicine Lodge 48-0. The defense has allowed just three touchdowns this season.———Oxford (2-3) at Argonia-Attica (3-2) at Argonia — A&A is 2-0 in the Class 8-man Div. 1 District 2. A&A could be playing South Central in week #8 for the district enchilada. A&A destroyed Oxford 70-20 in 2018. The Titans should win again, but the Wildcats are much better.———Pretty Prairie (2-3) at South Haven (1-4) — South Haven picked up its first win with a huge 52-6 victory over Burrton. It has a chance to get its second tonight. Pretty Prairie was 44-26 victor over the same Burrton team. South Haven defeated Pretty Prairie 58-12 in 2018.Follow us on Facebook.Follow us on Twitter.last_img read more
